Pan-Fried Scallops with Chilli and Ginger

My mum’s favorite seafood dish, right here I share her recipe for pan-fried scallops with chilli and ginger which she gives as a starter at a cocktail party or a lightweight foremost course. Take pleasure in!

    Substances:

    3 tsp olive oil
1/2-1 pink chilli, de-seeded and finely chopped
2 cm piece of recent ginger, peeled and finely chopped
Diver caught scallops (three per particular person for a starter)
    2 cloves garlic, finely chopped
    3 tsp soy sauce

    To garnish:
Thinly sliced ginger, chilli and rocket.

    Methodology:

Warmth the olive oil in a thick-bottomed frying pan on a low to medium warmth and fry the chilli and ginger.

Separate the white flesh from the corals after which fry the scallops with the garlic, cooking for about 2 minutes on all sides.

Add the corals and fry for a minute.

Take away the white flesh and corals from the warmth and place on a heat plate.

Add the soy sauce into the pan and let it bubble for 2 extra minutes.

Take away from the warmth and pour the sauce over the scallops.

Embellish with the sliced ginger, chilli and rocket.
