I need to admit we didn’t truly make the bases this time, we purchased ours however there’s a fab recipe over on BBC Good Food if you wish to make your personal and we shall be making ours one other time following their recipe.
We did make the passata and caramelised onions although, trustworthy (phew)! Fast and simple, this mild meal of gluten-free caramelised onion and goat’s cheese pizza all the time goes down a deal with.
We discovered the tastiest bases to be from the Co-Op however gluten free bases can be found in all good supermarkets.
Substances:
Pizza-
For the passata-
- 1 bulb garlic, chopped
- 2 tbsp olive oil (not Additional Virgin)
- 2 tins chopped/plum tomatoes
- 1/2 teaspoon sugar
- Sprinkle dried coriander
Caramelised onions-
- 3 massive purple onions, sliced
- 2 tbsp olive oil (not Additional Virgin)
- 1 tbsp sugar
- 2 tbsp balsamic vinegar
Toppings-
- 75g buffalo mozzarella
- 40g tender goat’s cheese
- Handful peppadews
- Additional Virgin Olive Oil for drizzling
- (use any toppings you want)
Technique:
Depart the bottom to 1 facet. Fry garlic in medium pan with olive oil on a low warmth. When it begins to brown, add the tomatoes, sugar and coriander. Cook dinner for 20 minutes.
In the meantime fry the onions in olive oil on a low warmth till they begin turning golden brown, add sugar and balsamic for five minutes.
As soon as the passata is cooked, mix and put aside. Pour the passata over the bottom, masking it.
Add mozzarella and goats cheese, caramelized onions, peppadews, drizzle with olive oil and serve. Take pleasure in!
